Faculty Member: Bachelors of Management Studies (BMS) Program, Jai Hind College (Since 2018)
I teach third year students on the graded subject of Strategic Financial Management. My aim is to impart my learning through my professional career and make the subject as relevant as the professional world demands. Given my under-30 tag, I focus on connecting with the students. I have tried to use techniques to connect recreational activities to teaching. For example, I used the concept of the famous Netflix movie, Bandersnatch, to teach MS Excel. Through a financial newsletter based in the United States, “Morning Brew”, I have had some success in inculcating reading habits among my students!
Advisor and Mentor to the E-Summit Program conducted by the BMS Course (Since 2016)
The Entrepreneurship Summit (E-Summit) is an initiative started by Jai Hind College since 2016. Given the thrust of Start-Up India, the college decided to create a platform for budding entrepreneurs to learn from keynote speeches from industry leaders, to stand a chance to enter the National Level Startup Competition, and to develop their entrepreneurial acumen.
